Jack is doing well. He’s been up walking several times today and is really looking forward to going home.
My wife and I and Jack’s boss and his wife had a nice visit this afternoon. They are feeding him well and he really looks forward to his strawberry shakes… he had 2 today:)
Jack is doing well enough that we’ll probably stop daily updates but will let you know when he’s moved and where he gets moved to.
Marty and I are in Jack’s room. They’ve moved him out of Intensive Care to 4th Floor to Room CTS PC 10. He’s sitting up in his chair, he’s been walking and he’s waiting for solid food to arrive:)
He’s looking much better and talking more and seems a lot happier. He’ll be here for a few days more.
We’ll post more later
My wife and I stopped into see Jack today about 5:00PM. He’s looking much better. His color is back, his swelling is down, and he’s showing interest in the world around him… and oh yeah…he’s ready to go home. Somehow I think the Drs will disagree. But it was nice to see him acting like his old self.
Jack did tell me that he’s ready for visitors. His sister has gone back home and won’t be back till Monday, and his niece has to work. So he’ll be by himself most of the time. So if you can make it please do so.
Let Jack know just how much he is appreciated.
Just stuck my head in and saw Jack. He’s still groggy and not very talkative, but he was glad to see me. He’s going to stay in ICU for at least another 24 hours, and might thru the weekend. The Drs would like to see more progress, but he is improving.
I asked Jack if he’d like visitors, he told me maybe in a day or two.
He IS getting better but, slowly.
He’s currently in ICU, CTI room 8.
Hi,
I was able to visit with Jack’s attending nurse for a few minutes. Jack is sitting up and is comfortable. He’s still in ICU, but is able to take just a couple of visitors today. I’ll be heading down as soon as I get off work and should be able to post an update from his room.
He’s off his blood pressure medicine and is responding to surgery very well.
